Matthew Rose is an artist and writer based in Paris, France. He is the founder and editor of Trouble magazine.
He graduated from Brown University with a BA in Linguistics and Semiotics and is the author of several books of art work including, People (Red Fox Press, 2015), Weekend Plans (Blurb, 2016), evidence (Burning Boy Books, 2017), The Self Improvement Alphabet (Red Fox Press, 2018), Coronaville (Blurb, 2020).
His current exhibition is FRAGMENT, a group show focused on collage at Brassworks Gallery, Portland, Oregon. He has long worked with Peat and Repeat in Ridgewood, Queens.
